So, check out this AMAZING site which seeks to chart the beginnings of our *Internet Culture*. This is actually vital work in my eyes. Today’s web-scape is transformed entirely from what existed in 1997; and the technologies available to us now far surpass what was possible with a 56k modem and some basic know-how…We’re in danger of forgetting what and how we built today’s internet (though I guess most never really knew!). I for one am very pleased that this period of development is being celebrated somewhere.
Enough of my “serious nostalgia” lecturing, go enjoy some ancient and awful Graphic Interchange Format images!

The amazing Shrinkles! Willie’s shrinkle is still going strong…
I wonder how many (if any?) of you remember shrinkles? The Dalton girls had a set when we were little. I think I can remember Bethan making Sanrio things… Anyway, I rediscovered them at Hobbycraft a few years ago and bought a set. I found that set tonight and was inspired to check out their website. This gif says it all really. Amazong!
