I am upset. My kettle has broken. I’ve had it for 10 years (you can tell by the garish 90’s colours!)
I’m really sad about this because it was a (very expensive) present given to me by Huw, who, hands down was the nicest boyfriend I’ve ever had. He bought me this then colour-changing kettle when I moved into my first flat in Aber. (Marko do you remember how much you used to love coming round filling the kettle with cold water and then watching it boil?! HA!)
I guess the lesson here is buy a metal kettle - it still works fine it’s just the plastic is perishing dramatically. So an afternoon of kettle comparisons awaits me… Joy.
