This Design Sponge sneak peek has made me really miss my green walls! :(
I had a bit of a shock when i saw it. The shot is bit like looking at an alternate (more together) version of my past. Whereas the rest of the house looks pretty much as I’d like mine, were it not for my lack of spare cash. From the Orla Kiely plant pot to the Ladderax shelving, it is divine.
My own ‘maskateers’ ducks (I never knew they were called that, and frankly, having just googled the term, I’m not convinced!) are still some of my most prized possessions though, green walls or not. Behold: sneak peek: matt & kathy allison
Love these prints by Kacie Mills. The rest of her work is also well worth a peek.

“3. HERITAGE IS IMPORTANT TO ME. By that I mean not just the provenance of any piece I am bringing into my home, but also family heritage. I like to blend inherited family pieces with found pieces to form the basis of my home interior. Of everything I own, my favourite item of furniture is a humble kitchen pantry table made from television and radio cabinets by my grandfather during the forties.”
Oliver Childs from Homespun Vintage gives his top tips for buying vintage pieces > each and every tip here is great, but the above is especially valuable. Good job @homepunvintage!

Hurrah! Converging interests - this time it’s furniture stories! This was *made* for me and my increasing obsession with documenting everything. You can download the label via the Design Milk post: Product ID: Every Piece of Furniture Has A Story
THIS was the ACTUAL reason I was on the Graham and Brown site! Hemingway Design has launched a new ‘Vintage’ capsule collection. I love the Deco Diamond print. It’s making me miss my green room here at DTs. (via Wallpaper)
